Well, it has been one year since Joey's treatment started. We wanted to take a littke time to thank everyone for their support and love during this very trying time.
So how do you thank someone for helping during the most difficult time in your life? How can we put into words how wonderful it feels to have someone we have never met e-mail Joey and tell him they are praying for him? How can we thank the hundreds of people who have given their time, money and love to help Joey get better?
I do not believe it is possible to convey our grattitude via a website, letter or even a conversation. I also cannot imagine the favor I could possibly do that would, in any way, help repay this kind of friendship.
With that being said we cannot let this day pass without saying something to all of those that have given so much to a little five year old boy and his family.
Your words, prayers, help, support, friendship, love and compassion will be remembered and cherished by our family forever. We will never forget the generosity of you all. We thank God every day for keeping Joey here with us and for sending us angels like you to take care of us when we needed you the most.
