Joey's visit for chemo this month was not as good as his last few. His counts are down and he had a spinal tap.
Joey's counts have been dropping a little lately and this week they were down around 700. That is low enough for us to keep him from spending too much time out in the world. They changed his dosages of chemo. His mouth sores have returned as well.
He also had a spinal tap this week. He was really upset during the treatment. Sharon said he cried quite a bit and was upset about not getting a blanket. He actually got a blanket but the medication they give him makes him lose short term memory so he thought he did not.
Finally some people that have seen Joey lately might have noticed what looked like blemishes on his face. He is extra sensitive to the sun. The doctors actually told us to try and keep him out of the sun which in Phoenix Arizona is just about impossible.
Please keep Joey in your hearts and prayers.
